- Temporary traffic control zone signs are used to direct
traffic in a safe manner around a temporary situation which can
include construction or road incidents.
- Warning road signs are more typically used in temporary traffic
control zones and keep the same form but the background color
changes from yellow to orange.
- Warning road signs can also be fluorescent-pink in the event of
an incident management situation.
- Regulatory road signs are occasionally used in temporary traffic
control zones and keep the same form and colors as in normal
situations.
- Note: only the warning road signs with
orange or fluorescent-pink background colors will be covered in
