Hi. In the classroom today you will learn about present participle adjectives.

A present participle adjective is a word formed from a verb using the present participle or "ing" form of the verb.

The following are examples of present participle adjectives.

The verb BORE becomes BORING to make the present participle adjective.

The BORING teacher.

The verb CONFUSE becomes CONFUSING to make the present participle adjective.

The CONFUSING class, meaning the class is difficult to understand.

Present participle adjectives are an important part of English grammar.
